Boiler control

Hi all,

I am on the board for a condo building who recently took control from the developer. We have 12 ~600 sq ft units in a v-shaped 3-floor building (4 floor plans, 3 floors). We have 1 steam boiler at the point of the v with two steam headers, one to each side.

The only control we have right now is a temperature regulator on each of the condensate return pipes. We use that temperature to increase the boiler duty on cold cycles and lower it when it's warmer.

We are looking into improving our control system. Could someone give me some insight into the performance of single versus triple thermostat systems. Also, where should we locate the thermostate in the building and in the specific units.

One final question. We have one resident who lives on the farthest end from the boiler and she is constantly worried about the cold and complaining about the cold. What is a tactful way to deal with this?

Thanks!!!!!
