On primary & secondary pumping , when exactly is the boiler pump running? when the boiler fires? always on? or when a zone is calling? I have always done boilers the "regular way" but I now like to put the circ on the push & feed at the point of no pressure change {dont know if I said that right?} That's about as fancy as I've gotten [ha ha] & still alot of my peers don't know what I'm doing! I've done plumbing 18 yrs & I learn something about heating here every night! Thanks guys! love the photo's keep em'coming

boiler pump
It depends on the control system you are using. If you use a reset control, the pump will run only when the loop needs some heat. If you're using no reset, the boiler pump would normally run with the boiler....there are many options here
