Munchkin Question

That is a little cracker box of a house. The owners are a young couple who are very smart. They bought this house in a great location near the big shops of the nice part of town, and inside of 6 months they have doubled the value. Location, location location. However it is very small, and the heat loss is only 33,000 btu's. They need a new boiler and to remove the old gravity lines running from the old boiler so they can finish the basement and then walk around without hitting their heads on the pipes. I was going to use a Wirsbo manifold and mulitcore to run to their 5 oversized cast iron radiators. My worry is that a Munchkin 80 could only modulate down to 24,000. The full heat loss at 10 degrees is only 33,000. I could be turning on and off. I've heard tell of a smaller wall hung Munchkin but only here on the Wall. I could go to an inside out water heater, but then I'd lose the low temps I should be able to get by reseting those big cast iron rads. Any suggestions?? WW

with 5 oversized radiators, as long as it's 1 zone I don't think that it would short cycle. the wall hung would probably be better (and save valuable space) but I just got the literature on those and haven't opened it yet.0 -
with 5 oversize radiators I don't think it would short cycle if it's all on one zone. the wall hung munchkin would be even better but I haven't opened my new literature packet and I don't remember their availability.0 -
Go..
with a T-50 and set it up with V1 kit and you'll be cookin' with gas!
For the gent who suggested the use of a water heater like I had in my home, I reduced my fuel bill by 30% over the DHW tank with a full outdoor reset. The T-50 is AWESOME stuff...
