Question about Moving oil tank in basement
Mike W.
Member Posts: 1
I want to move the oil tank back six feet, closer to the filler. Is it ok to just cut out the six foot section, move the oil tank and join the pipes with a rubber coupling with clamps. that's the same way cars and trucks filler necks are, as well as drainage. please email me with suggestions. thanks.

that would be...
a NO. You must cut the pipe and re-thread the lines. Also the lines..vent and fill should be in steel, nothing else not copper , not pvc. The tank must be NO closer to the boiler/furnace than 60"....kpc0 -
