What do you mean by fix
is it a crack? If you don't have the room to work, the contractor may not either. The pipe may have to be cut out on either side to an area that can be reconnected with a new PVC or cast iron pipe to replace the old pipe (sometimes the old cast iron pipe will split along the seam if it is thin and brittle) Furnco fittings could be used to make the transition between the different pipes where needed. I also assume you are talking about drainage piping.(DWV)0
