If a hot water boiler has a pressure of 12 pounds when the water temperature is cool, how high should the pressure gage read when the water temp is around 190-200?

Trick question
Each system will give you a different answer unless you plan. I'm inclined to run in the 20psi range with most of my radiant, slightly higher with cast rads @ design temps. System volume, temperature rise and expansion tank acceptance volume all contribute. Enjoy....Dan

Mine does that
Thanks for asking the question Ken, and thanks for the answer Dan. I have a small single story house with a single loop baseboard system and it does exactly as Dan stated. My system seldom ever gets over 170 degrees (W-M WGO-3. I had planned to ask the same question. Mark R.0
