Installed this boiler in 1997 (1,000,000 burnham) lack of maintenance caused low water cut off to fail in the "full" position. Boiler got cherry red and cracked end sections. Went with electronic LWC, wired in series with another LWC on the opposite side of the boiler. Lack of maintenance cost these guys $5,000. Just in time for Christmas!

I've seen those marks on that age of boiler before. Was that model known for roll out ?
