Does anyone still make a CAST-IRON solid fuel boiler any more? Prefer USA made if possable.

I don't think any one has done one in a while..Burnham's one was steel, Hs Tarms is still steel. I would give Tarm a look if Wood is what you are looking for in a fuel...kpc

has some cast iron ones warehoused somewhere in the US.

How big

We have a couple of customers looking at something like the Burnham 4N. Yes I know it is steel, but they want the large doors. We have not finished the est. Customer is looking at summer of 05. They currently have what some people call a snowman Boiler. Very large snowman at that Almost 8 feet tall and 5 to 6 feet around.

How Big?

Oh, plus or minus 100,000. the important thing is at least a 23" deep firebox and a decent door. I want to replace a 30+ ear old Chappe (sp?).
