Main Air Vents

I apparently have a machanical return one-pipe system with steam traps and a condensate pump. No reference to main steam line air vents is made in some of the diagrams I have seen for these systems. Does this system need a main steam line air vent? The run is about 50'.

Yes
You need a main vent , look at the end of the main , after the last radiator or on the trap.... Clue if working , all the radiators start to heat at the same time. If they heat in series a main vent needs service or one installed...0
