We are talking the indoor coil correct? If so add a txv and
you made need to make a fan adjustment when the humidity is
high.

Coil Additions
Please advise if it is inappropiate or would result in premature system failure if I took a 9 year old 1.5 ton AC unit and added a new 2 ton coil to the system. I was told that coil additions should be exact or it would result in premature failure or a freezing of the unit.0
