Sticky threads

As a new homeowner in an 1882 triple decker, I have alot of pertinent questions about, well, everything. However, I already know that alot of my concerns have already been addressed ad infinitum within this forum. Wouldn't it make some sense to create a number of "sticky" threads that address these common first-timer questions without having to distract the very helpful people who populate this site with extremely repetitive questions?
I would be happy to help in this regard before posting numerous newbee questions.

Yours,
Smak. Pawtucket,RI.

Hit the search button at the top....

by searching a few key words you should have plenty of great reading.....
    may raise more questions....
no question is a dumb one.. ask away.....
what's the worst that can happen... someone may lash out from their keyboard at you.....
big deal...they can't hurt you... and you'll still get a ton of help if you handle your self in a civil manner.

There's a huge amount of basic system information in the Heating Q&A, Steam Problems and Hot Tech Topics sections. Look around in those places and then bring your questions here to the Wall. Thanks.
    Retired and loving it.
