Water feeder problem for Boiler

Hi everyone and Happy Holidays! I am a new homeowner and my boiler is giving me problems. I have to keep adding water to it via the manual intake every day to day and a half. If I don't, the water level gets low and the boiler automaticall shut off and my house gets cold. Does anyone have any troubleshooting advice for me? Thanks so much!

Alex, look around basement.............
for any signs of a water leaks in piping. Check main overhead steam vent(s). Are any of the vents upstairs in house leaking? not water but steam, this will cause boiler to run out of water. Last is to check chimney with boiler running for "white smoke" which could be an cracked boiler leaking steam. Also could be an underground return line or one in a wall. If you can't find any of these it's time to call for service by someone who understands steam. Check on left "Find a Professional". Hope this helps John@Reliable0
