Not good for a guy who works with his arms...
Simple out patient surgery. I'll be limited to the use of one arm for 4 to 6 weeks, and then begins rehab. So, if you don't hear from me for a while, it's because I'm rehabing:-)
Wish me luck!
TIA

funny
but I am sure there is a DIY kit out there somewhere. I am sure we can find it on the internet! I'll bet they even come with complete instructions!
all the best Mark!
don't stay away too long, this place won't be the same without ya!0 -
If you was a Lobsta
we'd call you a Cull ( thats a one claw lobsta ).
Hope all goes well and I suspect we'll get some one fingered answers. You just can't keep a good man down.
Rehab should be daily 12 Ounce curls.
Scott

Good Luck Mark
I can relate. Remember at Wetstock-I, I was wearing a sling? I had just had rotater cuff surgery the previous week. The Doctors didn't prepare me for how serious (painful) the surgery was. I even had some service calls planned for the day after surgery, thinking I'd just bring my helper and use my brain. It really was more than I expected and knocked me off my pins. I had to cancel all calls for several days. A good time to get some extra Wall time. A year later though it was all worth it. Pain free and chugging on like normal.

Hey, watch those one-fingered answers pal!
Best o' luck to ya my friend. Good to hear that's an out-patient deal.
I heard there's a deal on ebay for a DIY kit. Some place in Vermont is selling em. Says they've never had a single complaint!

How did you tear it?
Just wondering if it was from an occupational hazzard?
Maybee they'll give you hydrotherapy and if I know you, you'll be sitting there thinking up all sorts of waste heat recovery systems to help warm up the tile floors;-)
I'm sure everything will be fine. Hope it all goes well. Speedy recovery and don't forget to sinch up the string on that hospital johnny.

Rest and recover. Oh ya and drink beer. Get yourself healthy that is the key now. It isn't easy to be patient. or even a patient. You can still play with your munchie and your computer. I'm jealous- I don't have a laptop yet. My cables are getting dust on them. I really need to set this m399 that I put in.0 -

Well, Mark, everyone knows that you are better a better hydronician with one hand tied behind your back than 99% of the others!
I am confident that you can muddle through the use of a key board with one hand! (Even your left one).
Speedy recovery, pal!
