What Brand Is This

Okay, the Christmas spirit is overwhelming me...

Don't get a chance to see enough of the larger boilers in this area (to quite a few of the residents around here, "central heating" means locating the wood stove in the middle of the cabin), so I'm having a little trouble figuring out exactly what I've got here. Not one iota of identification anywhere that I can find. As for model - it measures 45 1/2" high, 21 1/4" wide, and 28 3/4" deep.

Noel, is this one of yours??

    What is it???

That looks like an American Standard V series I believe that unit fired with a + pressure over the fire.

    It's either a Burnham-American

or Burnham V3 series boilers. It might be an American-Standard V3, but I don't remeber them having blue jackets. Pound for pound one of the best steam boilers ever designed. I would still take it over a lot of stuff out there, FACT!

    It's a Burnham PF-3 series

where the number after the 3 is the number of sections. Here's a photo of an older PF-37 steamer with the original Sunray burner. And yes, it is pressure-fired.
