Low sulfur oil

Just read a good fuel oil article in this weeks (Dec 15) HVAC news. Shows how clean boiler sections are using low sulfur oil for fuel. Their low sulfur is .04 percent which is 400 ppm. My company buys low sulfur diesel fuel for standby generators that is 30ppm and will go to 15ppm as soon as we can get it. For now the product is special order out of BP Amaco Whiting IN. What a good idea for heating oil suppliers who want to differenciate themselves in an environmental way not to mention the tech who doesn't need to deal with so much soot. Have any of you oil service guys seen a difference?
