Cleaning baseboard cast iron radiators

I have 44 feet of old cast iron baseboard radiators which I have recently installed. Before I put them into operation I would like to flush them out to ensure that the insides of them are clean with no rust etc. which could cause my new boiler to clog up. What methods, chemicals etc. should be used for this purpose?
