MY RADIATOR IS BLOWING

I HAVE A STEAM HEAT SYSTEM THAT I CAN NOT FIGURE OUT. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TWO OF THE RADS. ONE RAD BLOWS OUT AIR (STEAM) AS IF IT WAS GOING TO EXPLODE EVERYTIME I PUT ON THE HEAT AND THE OTHER RAD ONLY COMES ON IF I BLAST THE HEAT UP TO 80. I HAVE REPLACED THE VALVE ON BOTH BUT THEY STILL DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. I HAD A PLUMMER COME IN AND THEY TRIED TO TELL ME THAT THIS IS NORMAL. I HAVE 10 OTHER RADS IN THE HOUSE AND IT IS JUST THESE TWO THAT GIVE ME PROBLEMS SO IT CANT BE NORMAL.
ANY ADVICE.

You're right, it's not normal
Your problem could have one or several causes. Your best bet is to go to the Find a Professional page of this site and locate someone near you who knows it isn't normal. If you're in the Baltimore area, e-mail me!
