thin baseboard

Does anyone know of a company that produces thin baseboards. I found the AIM slimline 2000 baseboards that are only about 1 inch thick but was told they get real hot. Is this true and what are the alternatives?
Thanks,
Mark

It Depends......
on the temperature of the water. On the coldest day of the year mine might be 140°, on mild days maybe 110°.
Certainly no hotter than a radiator or cast iron baseboard. If you are talking about the aluminum stuff like I have you can only expect 240BTUH @ 180° so you need more of it . I have mine on constant circulation and out door reset. Very comfortable.0 -
I have installed
the "thin" baseboard from Hydronic Alternatives. great stuff, but you will need a lot more of it to do the smae job.

very nice looking, and very low profile0
