come in all forms. From this continent, we look across the waters and see people of the Muslim faith who are so devoted to what they consider their religion is all about that they are quite willing to die for it. We label these people "religious fanatics" as do many other Muslims.

And then I read the posts from people like Kevin Pulver who are so myopic that they cannot even see the parallels between the Muslim religious fanatics and the Jesus Freaks like himself. To suggest that someone leave America just because they disagree with what you believe is counter to everything that the founding fathers of your nation enshrined in the Constitution. Go check your coinage. Last time I looked, it said "one nation under god". It doesn't say "one nation under Jesus".

Secondly, let me remind you Kevin, that there were numerous tribes of intelligent, proud and talented people on this continent long before your forefathers possibly crawled aboard a wooden boat to escape oppression and landed on these shores. Of course, many of these equally religious new arrivals had no qualms about killing, raping and oppressing the indigenous peoples of America in order to take that which did not belong to them.

Might is right, yes? And the people they were murdering and raping and stealing from... well, they were just savages who did not know Jesus. So, of course, that makes it A-OK.
Oh yes, I almost forgot.. god was on their side, was he/she not? Oh, ya... If only I had a buck for everytime that phrase has been muttered and uttered by someone in order to justify their actions.

So Kevin, kindly get down off your holier than thou Jesus pulpit. The fact that you have accepted a particular religious belief does not give licence to proclaim superiority over anyone. You have no way to prove the validity of your religion any more then a Jew, Bhuddist or Muslim can. That is why it is called "faith".

You accept what is written about your religion - they accept what is written about theirs. And if you really believe that one day you will be required to stand in front of your god and account for yourself, then what will the record show about you and your unconditional love for fellow man?

Your lack of tolerance is just as frightening as theirs. Fortunately for you and your ilk, the man you call Jesus is not alive to walk this planet today. Because if he was, he would kick your **** from California all the way to NYC for perverting what he was all about.
