Anyone out there had much experience with this boiler. I understand the US market has had access to this product for about a year now. We are just now getting it in Canada.
Any thoughts?

I like mine. I just got my reading for December, less than half the gas used compaired to last Dec. True, it was colder last year but this makes 3 months in a row. Its been getting colder now I think next months reading will be key.0 -
So far nary a problem....
installed one in my house in May, of course it just made hot water all summer, but has performed very well now that it has gotten cold. I want to give it another month or two til I can try to effectivel calculate what it is saving me. I do know that I am more comfortable now than I was before....I have cast iron baseboard and cast iron rads and have maintained 70 in the house down to 0 with the boiler running at 160, the longer run times have defintely increased the comfort level.
I have installed a couple of others and have no problems, the people are happy, so I'm happy.
I have a 10,000 sq ft firehall ready to startup as soon as the Electric Co. gets their act together...that will be a two boiler setup and I'm waiting for Tekmar and Weil to get some controls to me...(the first of the year) I am told.
I have an agricultural situation that I installed one in and the boiler has not stopped since sept. 16 when I installed it, just sits there and modulates to the load....beautiful!!! Have three more to install....at a saving of over 25.00/day why won't the owners want more??? they can pay the boiler off in less than a year!!!!
As always though your results and your experience with this boiler will only be as good as the support that you are given through your local supply house and their support system!!! I happen to have a much better relationship with a couple of supply houses the deal with the Weil line....That also allows me the oppurtunity to throw them head to head price wise and keep them honest, also allows me to check with the other if I think that they are giving me a line of BS!!!! Hey, it happens!!! Been stabbed tooooooomany times!!!
Okay sorry about that, that is not what you asked about.
In short, I'm tickled, with what I have seen so far!!!

When I ordered mine, the lowest available was the 155. Looked at the options, decided that the modulating feature (down to about 30 something) would still work for my 2000 sf house in New Mexico (design temp 13)radiant slab, indirect dhw (small wm unit). Love it.
Propane, 5100 feet. Had a problem with supplied control unit/orifice due to altitude, replaced fast and free. Took awhile to figure out that the new control unit had an outdoor reset target temp at 0 and the old 32 (no wonder it was only 64 inside). Reset to new curve and all is fine.
Currently using less than half of normal usage projected by propane suppliers in the area. We live about 70 miles nw of Las Cruces NM in the Black Range foothills next to the Gila Wilderness area.
Will be putting in three more. Like the fact that they have 80 and 110? now.0
