ceiling radiant panels

Am considering supplementing the heat in a couple of rooms with a few radiant ceiling panels to counteract the effect of an existing mexican-tile-on-slab floor, which gets a bit chilly this time of year. (The main source of heat in these rooms is to be panel radiators.)

My thought would be to install the ceilng panels individually in the gyp ceiling, piping them in parallel. Has anyone done this to offer any lessons learned?

Any favorite products you'd care to mention? I know of Sterling and maybe one other.

    Radiant ceiling panels

Some good information on the Twa Panels website at www.twapanels.ca The ceiling radiant panels are generally designed to work at fairly high temperatures (180-200F). If you intend to operate them off the same circuit as some wall panels which might be operating at a lower water temperature, you may need to increase the radiant panel area to get enough radiant heat output. Radiant heating and cooling is all about surface area versus temperature. The smaller the radiant surface area, the higher (or lower for cooling) the radiant surface temperature needed, and conversely, the greater the radiant surface area available, the lower the heating surface temperature needs to be for the same output.
