Are Munchkins dependable????

I think its somewhat unfair to come in and drop a bomb and leave... Did you follow the manufacturers suggested installation requirements? With these new appliances you MUST follow the manufacturers recommended piping practices, or you 're asking for trouble. It ain't your pappys boiler any more.
There are PLENTY of these units out there working just fine.
Anytime you make ANY kind of a "widget", you HAVE to expect a certain number of returns, and I'm sure the HTP is not any different from any other widget manufacturer, except that EVERY one of their boilers is wet tested and fired prior to leaving the factory.
They're doing the best they can IMHO.
Give us more data so we can better understand your post.

Are Munchkins dependable???
I sure hope that the Munchkin boilers hold up as well as their sales flyers say. I had a brand new one that I replaced after 1 week of operation. I got my money refunded but have yet to hear anything back about the problem with the boiler or if they are going to reimburse me for any of the time spent working on it. I just installed another one and I get nervous about it. I ordered 3more 80M's Friday and I hope I don't have to change them out in the first week of operation. Anybody have any advice on installation methods or just follow common practice with them.0 -
What?
What was wrong with the one that got sent back after a week? Inquiring minds want to know.0 -

I see...
Looks like he's been fiddle faddled by the fickle finger of fate. I'm sure the gang at HTP will take care of him. Thanks for posting the info.
