Honeywell makes exactly that...
I don't have the number, though.

Differential Pressure Bypass valve
yes: but the DU-145 comes with 3/4 connections
my system flow is 11.7 gpm if just the smallest 1gpm
zone is on, i need to bypass 10.7gpm which is a lot
for 3/4"0 -
They make two sizes, and I think the bigger one is 1 1/4".

While Honeywell, the 1¼" differential pressure bypass valve I bought a few years ago was under the "Braukman" name.
If buying from a supplier where such is uncommon get ready for strange looks and be ready to look it up yourself. Counter man kept asking, "What's it called again? What's it do? I can't find it." After about 15 minutes of this I asked to look in the book, went to the index, found "Differential Pressure Bypass Valves" listed, turned to the page and gave him the model number. Gave him the book still turned to the page headed "Differential Pressure Bypass Valves" and he AGAIN asked, "What's it called?"

AVDO Constant Flow Control Valve
my supplier refuses to get me the braukman
- he says, it's to expensive (read - too little profit)
i found avdo25 from danfoss that has 1" union connectors, close enough -
does anyone have any experiance with it???

I like Heatlink
I don't know about Danfoss, but.
I always use the Heatlink models, but then I always use Heatlink radiant materials, so that is just what I'm comfortable with. Never had a problem. They may be priced more like Brackman which is high quality as well. They come in 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" but the flow is what is important and you would have to check their charts on the website for that.

New numbers
Sparco-Braukmann are now part of Honeywell water controls. We make 2 models, a D146M1032, 3/4 inch and a D146M1040 1 1/4inch. Sounds like your distributor is having a bad day...If you can tell me who he is, maybe I can help. Email me direct, not on the Wall, please.0 -

PAB's
are fairly simple devices I imagine any brand would be trouble free. Danfoss, Honeywell and Oventrop are brands I use.
One tip, if I may. Always put a ball valve next to one side. This allows you to purge your system without a bypass. Without isolation purging can be tricky.
