Taco Pump Vertical
I run my pressures above 20 psi to allow them to run that way and don't seem to have problems. Have you guys ever run into problems with them like that? It makes it easier to work on the motors if they need to be replaced. Let me know what you think.0 -

No, I don't use a crimping tool, just regular soldering. I'v found that if I heat up the fitting till the flux runs out freely then wipe the excess off with a rag before finishing heating the fitting and applying solder really helps cut down on messy joints.0 -
The pipe-fitting looks great.
I love seeing all the attention to detail on the jobs that are posted on this site. It's nice that there are those who still aspire to be craftsmen (sorry, ladies, I mean crafts-people) in our disposable society.
Question though, it's hard to tell in the pic, but do you use a dielectric between your copper and steel fittings?0
