Radiant Wall

Where can I get good info on different radiant wall applications? Would Ayr-foil with tubes installed in front of it work good? 120deg? thanks

    What info do you need?

It's basically a floor turned on edge!

The same R-value math applies for loss calcs. They can run a bit warmer surface temperatures (higher output) as generally folks don't walk on them :)

Some of the radiant manufactures have design help in their manuals, for wall and ceiling applications.

Always, always start with a room by room heat loss calc. Then build the "panel assembly" be it walls ceilings, or floors around the design numbers. Happy heating.

    Transfer

The transfer factor changes from 2 btu/sqft to I believe 1.6 btu/sqft. Check with your manufacturer.
