Friends,
Anyone have any practical experience with is make?? They seem to be a nice looking and sounding unit from what I can tell. Heating and domestic hot water, just domestic hot water available this Spring. Owned by Ocean and imported from Italy. My customers are screaming for new, wall hung technology but I'm nervous (from the Old School) Must get my toes wet, still too young to roll over..........
Thanks in advance
Roy

    new technology?

It's a modulating but not condensing boiler. If you want wall-hung, MZ is a condensing but not modulating boiler. Trinity (and Munchkin/Pinnacle) condense and modulate.

    Viessmann

Vitodens 200 is a 94.2% AFUE wall hung. They don't get any better than that.

Roy, I have installed a few of these and they work like a champ. Never been back although the oldest is only 2 years old. They are a great piece of equipment and can be put in a very short time period. They make a demo disk that walks you through the install and set up. Give one a try, i think you will like it.

We have installed quite a few of these boilers and have been very happy. They go in easily, include the vent kit, and it is hard to beat the heat/hot water combo for the price. If the system is all high mass radiant, then maybe one of those other units mentioned make sense. Do the Viessmann and MZ include a system circulator? Also talk with your customer about hot water needs as the on demand DHW at 3gal/min may not be for everyone.
