heat problem

I just ran into this boiler where there is one common feed
with a circ. on it which branches off to feed all the pieces of element. (keep in mind they are not monoflow tees) and all of the returns come back seperate into zone valves. This is a fairly new house, has any body seen anything like this?

    Home run system...

Provided that all circuits are in individual series, it should work ok. Remember, water is dumb, wet and lazy, and it WILL follow the path of least resistance. If you've got one circuit that is 50 feet long, and some that are 200 feet long, guess which one gets the most flow. Worst case scenario, you may need to balance out the system.

Now, if they've run the baseboards in parallel, that's a WHOLE different problem...

What kind of problem are you seeing?
