The turf warming system was meant for keeping the roots of the grass warm, is that why they weren't supposed to "ran the turf-warming system all the while it was snowing on Saturday, even though you’re not supposed to." Meaning it isn't designed as a snow melt system, but just to keep the roots warm?

    that's true. Turf-warming and snowmelting are two different things. Gillette has a turf-warming system.
    Retired and loving it.
