Heated Towel Bars

I saw an article somehwere recently about supplying hot water to a heated towel bar from the DHW supply to a shower rather than from the hydronic system. The logic was that the towel bar would heat up when the shower was running and you would be requiring a heated towel. A towel bar connected to the hydronic system would be at the whim of the room thermmostat or would require a separate control circuit of some kind. Does anybody remeber where that article was printed. P&M, Plumbing Engineer?

Towel Bar off DHW to shower
Unless you take a REALLY long shower and the DHW is extremely hot you'll never get the towel warm and fluffy. I have a large hydronic towel warmer connected to a gravity DHW recirculation system--so it's getting continuous heat. Even with the DHW temp set fairly high it takes HOURS to make a warm, fluffy towel.0
