    I recently replaced the boiler in a newly purchased house, and our contractor put Hoffman 1a's on every radiator.

    I've had terrible luck with them. For some strange reason, they seem to collect water with my system. I also found that the ones on the 1st floor tended to vent too slowly for the size of the radiators in the room.

    Hoffman customer service was baffled, and their suggestions didn't work. I think it was just a quirk with my system, there is no way all 10 of these things were defective!

    So I paid about $30 each for them... I'd love to sell them to help pay for the Gorton vents I replaced them with. If anyone could use them, make an offer! I'd like to see SOMEONE get some use out of them, they won't do much good sitting in my basement.
