brings about the greater fuel savings? modulation of the burner? or the heat catch of condensing?

    I think

    its a combination of the two. I don't think theres really that much energy coming back from the condensate, as much as its an indicator of what IS making it into the water.

    Modulation just enhances the whole low temp high efficiency low mass boiler thing.

    But whadoiknow...
