Tank gauges in two tank set ups

If you have two oil tanks where the first tank is where the fill line goes and the second tank is filled after the first tank is filled with a crossover pipe...and you have two oil gauges, one for each tank, when you fill the first tank, is the tank gauge set up to withstand the pressure of filling? What if it breaks? Are there fill gauges that are designed for that application?

just use one gauge
and put it on the second tank, which should be the tank with the vent. I do not believe the gauges made today are able to take any pressure without leaking. Since you are basically over-filling that first tank you don't want to put a gauge on it. ~Randy0
