How can you tell if an oil burner motor is good or not?
Sometimes you can find it in thermal overload or stuck and has to spun then you know its no good. But besides quessing is there a way to check it out?

Try an amp draw test
If the amp draw is excessive, the bearings or fuel unit may be blown.
