the 2 lennox guys did this job ? I went out on a service call to do a furnace Check on a house for sale, home inspector said furnace had problem . some burnt wires rust 15 year old rheem 70% . I couldnt get flame to roll out to burn wires cleaned burners adj vac excanger set up burners . 18ppm co air free stack 325 no change of O when blower kicks in looked hard for cracks couldnt find any . Cust called me back in a week wanted to replace HWT told me the furnace had been replaced . had 2 cracks in excanger and it was covered under the gas line warrinty so I go over and change HWT has a weather king 75000. btu 2 pipe vent the intake not glued on a joint one strap holding 18 ft of pipe .BX wire short just has wire hanging on conector , the out side termnate not even close to the book. all the trash still in the basement and the old furnace, so I change the HWT and clean up and ask if i can have old furnace she said ok . I go back in shop and fill excanger with water no leaks .. Should I LET THIS GO ? Call the Owner ? I use to work there, call the gas line warrinty co ? the home owner had to pay 600.00 for the mess of the install . they know it held h2o I have some pics have to find the cord to hook it up post soon

Hi Dlux, yep I remember talking with you!!
As far as this situation goes (and since you know the owner), particularly if there is anything that looks as though it could be a safety hazard, get in touch with the company owner first and give him the opportunity to take care of it.
If he doesn't express any concern, I'd then talk with the homeowner, have them get in touch with him and if that doesn't result in any action, suggest they contact the local building inspector/code enforcement office.

As far as 'no crack' goes, a rusty 15 year old unit with burned wires probably needed replacing anyway....
