@ the end off the day pops and I was working over in Jersey, about 30 minutes away! The Nextel beeps & it's my lovely bride. In a calm tone she explains to me that our 17 month old son made a break for it in a mid diaper change and headed for the Head. She hurried along (as fast as a 6 months pregnant lady can) to find he has locked himself in there. Trying to be calm she told me the story and asked how to get in the locked room.
We ended up calling a neighbor who had to come over and pop off the trim because the lock broke completly.
After they opened the door they found our little man smiling check to check and pointing at the floor. It was the first time he did # 1 in the bathroom.
Maybe next time it will be in the toilet.

stinky?
Congrats! it truly is a moment in time. My little girl just turned 2. Any time we suspect (you know the look i mean), we ask her, "Did you do a stinky?" She takes off like a rocket runs to the bathroom and shuts the door. I'm not in any hurry, I know the other side,(even more disgusting, because it gets everywhere) and right now, it's just easier..gotta love um.... good luck boc0 -
Wives too
When my twins were months old my wife put them in their car seats and was taking them outside. She set one down inside and carryed the other outside. The storm door closed and was locked. One kid in, wife and one, locked out. My nice neihbor offered my wife a ladder so she could climb in a second story window. She reached me at work by cell and I came home and got the door open with a screwdriver. The baby inside was happy the whole time.0
