Buderus job photos (s milne)

I get to show you these photos of a job we have been doing for about 8 months now.

Chris A built the panel in the shop. Steve and Darrel roughed in the floor tubing and all the plumbing. Then we brought the panel over and hooked up the Buderus boiler and 80 gallon Super-Stor. We used two Buderus mixing stations for two different temperature floors. We have tubing in cement with one zone having a two stage thermostate with Runatsl as a back up to the floor. We have Stadler climate panels put on top of the sub floor for the entry and the 2nd floor master bath. The other part of the 2nd floor will have Runtal panels.

Each Buderus mixing station has a espe mixing motor connected to a Tekmar control for weather responsive control. One Tekmar controls the boiler and domestic also.

The Buderus stations have ball valves with thermometers in the handles for diagnostics and a built in PDV since we are using zone valves off the manifolds.

I can see things that we will do differently next time but I am very proud of the work done here. This is one of the nicest jobs we've done

By the way, the Buderus tuned up at 86.6 after Chris was done. Not to shabby.

Scott

    Pro Press Master

Pretty cool Scott, looks like you are getting some of the kind of work that helps pay for that pro press tool.
Do you use that Buderus mug to purge the system, or is that a Brew mug only?

Whether its hidden in a closet or in a nice open area , your work is top notch , high end .

Scott , you said something about electricians coming to finish - are you not allowed to do the electrical end of the work ?

And did you also do the Unico systems ? How are they to install ? Great work Chris , Steve , Darrel and the big Boss . I always love seeing the equipment you install , and how it comes out .

    Scott,

Just when I think we are catching up in Philly you have to out do us AGAIN! I really must say you have a top notch crew and it must be great to work in that atmosphere.

And when you say Knight is that like the singer from the boy band?

    Thank you

    David.

I appreciate the kind words. This job would not look like this if it were not for the wall.

We did the Unico. I did'nt show the photos which is a shame because Steve and Darrel did some nice work and pretty tough. We have minimal room above the boiler room for two of them, which your used to. We had some custom pieces made so we could go down thru the floor of the boiler room, across a crawl space, up an outside wall, thru a chase and then make our terminations.

We can do our own electrical but have never done it. I think that may be one of our next changes, for us to wire the panel before it leaves the shop.

Thanks Ron. I'll make sure to leave time for a few beers with you at wetstock.

    Wow

Good guess, thats him. Really a nice guy and down to earth. I thought he was one of the workers when I met him. Just standing there puffing a butt. He has invested his money wisely and works hard at a company he has built.

Thanks Jamie, but lets not get carried away, I've seen your work also. Nice looking pinnacle work.

    Hey Cheese,

This one is "well lit"! The plasterers called me back, the day after Christmas (where I found the owner, his kids and all his friends, walking around in SHORTS and T-SHIRTS), to turn the temp. down. Seems the mud was drying a bit too fast for them.

Thanks for all the great comments. Chris.(Member of the Milne Plumbing and Heating.... TEAM!)

    ProPress at 10 paces, Chris?

Beautiful work, dude. Sorry it took a while for me to see it! I swear the ProPress is Heaven's gift to wetheads.

On the mixing stations. Are they motrized three ways somehow? I reallylove the finished look of them. I wish they were Vitosilver, though (g). With the quality of work I see, you should be Viessmann guys.

We also have a project we started installing 10 months ago. Not as eloborate as your beatiful project, but I can wait to get done there, too. Mostly cause I still have $10K on the table and I need beer money for Wetstock!!

Simply Beautiful! That makes the job I had done by a professional look like hack work.

It's nice to see what a job can look like when some planning and prefab is done.

    Honestly Matt

I have gotten a good relationship with a Good contractor who has a great relationship with an Architect who has good contacts. We are part of the team and it allows us to do these jobs. Its taken along time to get a good relationship with the right team.

We are also blessed with being in an area that can afford this work.

Its also alot of hard work, and late nights and early mornings and alot of eating crow to get here.

Thanks for the remarks, I really appreciate it.

Also alot of this is because of what I learn from the best and the brightest ... right here.

    As A member....

Of the Milne P&H TEAM, There is nothing more I can add to the statement that Scott just made.

He has made great strides for the company and our name is well known. I hope that we can continue to do the work we do, at the same pace.

Never a dull moment, always a challenge. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Thanks to all our Wallie friends for keeping the bar high. If it wasn't for the things we learn here, we'd still be living in the dark ages and following the donkey.

Because we live to learn, we follow the carrott. This we learn from the finest in the field. Thank you all for keeping the bar just out of reach. Keep TEACHING. Chris.
  • Matt you should go up and spend

a day with Scott. He has a very interesting area and a lot real challenges for installation. That just makes it more interesting. Scott and his guys have a great attitude and if he keeps going the way he is going his company will grow. I had a great day with them the day I worked with them. We all know what a great asset having Chris is so it is a real good mix.

Now don't go getting a big head you guys at Milne Plumbing!!!

    Thanks Tim,

See what I mean? The bar has been raised YET AGAIN!

This is just another "push in the right direction". I promise not to let you, or anyone else down. Like Hertz...We try harder. Chris

    Scott, your company......

ethics and principles are a model of what I would like my company to become if I grow. Knowing you affirms the belief I have that you can grow as a company and not give up the high standards to do it, which is the case so many times.

    Humbly,

    Milne

This is my first visit to this site at the request of Scott Milne. It's great to see the pride that the Milne Boys put into their work and their relationships. We have been working with Milne P+H for a few years now and consider them to be among the best in the business. The Knight project is only one of the outstanding jobs that they have done with us. The high end work is demanding but also rewarding. Scott and his crew's personalities are a true assett to his company and to our company. We are proud of the team approach to residential construction. In an industry where there are many variables, Milne has risen above as a true professional.
Keep up the great work !

    Your friends at Premier Builders.
