Gyp-crete vs concrete overpour?

We are installing radiant (hydronic) floor heat over an exisiting concrete slab. We are putting down 2x4 sleepers shimmed to level the floor. We then will fill the spaces between the sleepers with either gyp-crete on concrete. What are the advantages in this kind of an application using gypcrete over a regular concrete?
Also, any recommendations for gypcrete contractors in northern NJ?

The gyp
will certainly fill in under those shimmed sleepers better.
Concrete, even with pea gravel aggreate, doesn't run and fill like gyp does.

will you be insulating under the slab? If an existing slab on grade the operating cost will be high. Get at least 1/2" of styrofoam under that overpour, put your sleepers on top of the foam if you can. If not a large area a basic portland cement and sand wet bed mix will work well between the sleepers and be less expensive then bringing in a gypcretet rig. If a whole house or basement remodel gyp becomes a cost effective alternative.0
