is reviewed in the upcoming April issue of Old-House Journal. People who restore old homes read this magazine, and never throw it away. I often get calls about articles I wrote 10 years ago for this magazine.
We're gearing up to sell a lot of books to the readers. The review mentions HeatingHelp.com. The readers are going to come here to look around. They'll be interested in steam heating.
They're going to get in touch with the contractors who are listed in Find a Professional.
Mark my words.

O boy, can't wait. Just looked at a system that I spoke with the gentleman about 2 yaers ago. He got us off the FAC page. He finally decided to do something about it and we looked at the system last week. Can't wait to tell you what we found!!! Will post findings and results later.
If you're in my area, don't sign up ( I want the work) but seriously, it works!!!!

That's
a really good story! Thanks.
The last time OHJ reviewed one of my books we sold a ton of them, and we're still getting people calling to order from that same issue of the magazine. We have to explain to them that the price has gone up (because the issue was so old), and they're okay with that. The people who subscribe to OJH and buy it in the stores NEVER throw away an issue. I've stayed at so many bed-and-breakfasts over the years and always find old copies of the magazine in the living rooms of the houses. I can often find one of my articles in these old magazines. The owners get a kick out of it when I show them.
You really should get some serious new business out of this issue, considering the nature of "We Got Steam Heat!" and how it suggest throughout that homeowers come here to the site to find knowledgeable pros.
I'm glad you're listed, Al. Thanks.Retired and loving it.0 -
