    cold

Despite the fact it looks cold, congratulations on getting beaten by an obviously first class angler.

The low for today is about 35°, the high in the mid 40's.

    It sure looks cold there......

    Nice Catch!!!!

I'm happy to see my little buddy had a good day fishing with his dad. Those are the days that forever stay etched in our memories. Kinda surprised that there is not a picture of Markie trying to flyfish a tip-up hole.

    Ice fishing

    Mark,
Thats the best thing you can do with family- spend time togather. I was wondering, do you have an ice shanty and does it possibly have a radiant heat system?

A top hunter your son Mark.
I think it's great you are taking time out with your son Mark.
Someone told me kids are like smoke in the wind, so spending time with them it's very important.

Used to do it to my dad all the time..

I remember one time we were on vacation in Missouri in April, I skunked him for a week straight. Wish I could still do it but he passed in 1990. Make these days as plentiful as possible because soon all you or your son will have left are memories and old, faded pictures.

take after his mother!!! Just kidding, cherish these days with your kids they grow up awful fast. The good thing is then they have kids. The grandkids are for spoiling, my son always says to me hey you never did that with us. I tell him I learned over the years I should have.

It was always important to me to be alone with my son and daughter so we could talk about the things they wanted to talk about. It was during those quiet times with both my kids that I was able to explain God to them and help them to make a decision to allow God to come into their lives and guide and direct them. I have never regretted time spent with kids and now the grandkids. I just spent the day with my 18 year old grandson yesterday, he came to help me at the training center, he is always wanting to learn about mechanical things. He is going to school to be an architect, maybe I can influence him to do things the right way from a design perspective.
