TRV for Honeywell \"Unique\" valves???

I'm newly moved into a hundred year old house which was obviously originally heated using gravity hot water using the Honeywell "Unique" valves described in the Q&A here at heatinghelp.com (circulator added at some point in past). I would love to better regulate the temp using some sort of thermostatic radiator valve, but have had no luck finding a part that seems even possibly to be compatible with the plumbing used with those "Unique" valves. Does anybody have any ideas?

You would have to
use a dip tube off the TRV (through a tee) to bring water to the opposite side of the radiator. Then you could return the water through the other side of the tee.
That's a job for a pro.Retired and loving it.0 -
That's the first thing I thought of, but it would cut off flow through the rest of the loop unless I used a three-way valve... I was wondering if anyone manufactured such a beast.
How common are these valves? I'm a physicist and a tinkerer, so if I came up with an elegant solution, do you think that anybody else would be interested in it?

I'm thinking of
a tee with a double-tap bushing and a dip tube, like I'm showing in this hot water zone off a steam boiler.Retired and loving it.0
