flange
Member Posts: 153
got a call from a commercial customer, he was having his house renovated last year, and the plumber drained the boiler to move some piping. he forgot to drain the cast iron convectors and they froze. ooops! SO, he installed cast iron baseboard in the enclosures. one row didnt get it so he added another. still not getting it. did heat loss calcs and found we really need some tall cast iron rads to put out enough btu's. enclosures are 6 inches deep, and we are looking for some good used rads. anyone near southeastern pa got any?????????

recyclingthepast.com has used steam rads in some sizes. They are near LBI so not terribly close but you can see if they have what you need on line before making a trip out there.0 -
thanks, thats really only about an hour from me. if the customer could get what is needed it would be really nice, the other option is to buy all new, my cost is about six grand no labor included.0
