Hydronic baseboard location

How do you guys handle it when home owner or decorater starts to dictate the location of b/b heat in relationship to furniture. Sometimes by the time there done with their "restrictions" there is not enough wall space left for baseboard. I've been saying your furniture may come and go but you need heat in here forever. So what if your china cabinet is 2" off the wall.

I say put it where they want....but
Have them sign a release. State that this room needs 20' I can only put in 12' based on your interior design. See what they do. Or compensate with higher water temp and higher output baseboard. May cost more but I am sure they will pay as long as their furniture fits.
Good Luck
