12 VDC Thermostats
mph
Member Posts: 77
I'm finishing a heating system on a boat and the owner doesn't like the look of the standard Honeywell or WR bi-metal thermostats. For obvious reasons we can't use mercury thermostats. I need something either small and unobtrusive or, better yet, something with a remote sensor. We don't have 24 VAC, so tekmar is out.
Any suggestions?

Surface-Stat II
Jeff-
We have a stat the we use for mostly radiant floor systems but it can be used for air sensing also.
The power can be 120VAC, 24VAC, or 12VDC.
It is not a great looking control, but the sensor can be placed in the room (up to 500' away) and it will read from 32F to 160F.
Part number 4028, take a look at the attached bottom right corner.Dave Holdorf

I've used these before
and with some nice results. Remote sensor capable, keeps people from playing with temps. They are also available in heat/cool.
