heat loss software

I just read a thread from Doug. In it he suggested a heat loss software site from HVAC.cc for someone trying to size a boiler. My question is if this software is any better than the Slant-finn package offered on this website or is it just different? I sent for the Slant-finn software and found it very user friendly. I have a small house (1200 sq. ft.). I got a heat loss of under 40k which seemed very low. I called the people at Slant-finn. After telling them the size of the house and the fact that it was built in 1920, the man said I probably would need to up the load due to a loose house. I guess what I really want to know is if the other software would ask me any more info to give me a more accurate heat loss. Thanks in advance for any insight.

The Slant Fin..................
software is very accurate. It is IBR factoring. All,again ALL of the info this software asks you needs to be entered. You also need to understand all the scenerios and fit your home to the construction types it offers.I use this software often and it has not let me down.
Good Luck,
