you don't need the F&T trap. Vent the outlet side of the heat exchanger and bring your vertical line down to just above the steam main. From there, turn the downcomer horizontal and install a swing check valve. You can then go from the check valve into the top of the steam main. I don't see a need for that 4" U-seal at the bottom of the downcomer.

Relocate your vacumm breaker to a point between the control valve and the heat exchanger. When the control valve shuts, that will help clear condensate from the exchanger.

Consider lowering the steam pressure on the whole building.
