Do I have trapped air????
I have a forced hotwater cast iron radiators and a two pipe reverse system.
No zone valves two pumps.
Brand new buderus g215.
Problem #1.
Can not get water temp above 130F Even with high limit set to 240.It shuts off on high limit.
#2. The pipes bang like crazy as if there was air. But I went from radiator to radiator and opened each bleeder and no air came out.
If I bypass my high limit I get blow off from my can valve at 140F. I drained a bit of water into a cup and tested with a cooking thermometer and it is trult 140.
My pres. is 8lbs cold 14 lbs hot.
The system does heat the home even when outside dropps below zero.
Maybe someone could tell me what process the use for bleeding a two pipe reverse sytem.

ok..for one it is not shutting off on high limit if the water temp is 140 and the high limit is set for 240 (which I might add is extremely to high) unless you have a serious issue with your high limit...Do you have a ecomatic control on this system and if so who set it up? I would as previously suggested bleed your radiator's and in this weather maybe just give up and call a pro..might be better of in the long run..have whoever installed it come back and addresst the issue's..0 -
Maybe someone could tell me the exact procedure to bleed this sy
Yes it does shut off from the high limit at 140.
Water does come ot of the coin bleeders.
I do not have a computer controlled unit.
I would really appreciate a step by step on bleeding.
I think the temp is a different issue.

whats happening?
last spring i had new showers controls installed. since then they have worked fine. but recently i will be taking a hot shower and it will go cold, and hot and cold as if the shower was possessed. i have a tankless coil, and i had checked the low limit. originally it was on the lowest setting so i bumped it up a little, and now the showers stay warm a little longer but still go cold? any ideas? i would really appreciate any response or help.0 -
