Removing radiators

Member Posts: 2
I believe some nasty things will occur if I remove four steam radiators from a twelve radiator system.
What do I have to look forward to if I attempt this feat?
Thanks.

Well, if they have valves, you could just shut the valves as a test to see if banging will result.

Why remove them?
What is prompting the removal?
What type of system?
First I would size the system. Dan can help you with this. Lost Art book.
Then determine how oversized it is.
Until it is sized you are shooting in the dark.
