Are there any good HVAC magazines?

I have posted on this site in the past and gotten some great feedback. I am the owner of an answering service that only works with companies within the HVAC industry. I'd like to put some money into advertising but I don't know what the "hot" publications are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The NEWS

Could there be any one better than The Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration News? NOT. We have been in business for 77 years, publish weekly, have a 60% HVACR contractor readership and blow away our competition in reader after reader satisfaction surveys. No brag, just fact. And I should know -- I'm the Business Management Editor. Visit www.achrnews.com to learn about us and then contact me via this e-mail address. You won't be disappointed.

    I Agree with John

I definitely agree with John, but then again, I must be preaching to the choir. The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News is definitely a worthwhile publication. It concentrates not only on field-related issues but on business management and educational issues as well. As a college professor who teaches HVAC in New York, I have used the NEWS in conjunction with classroom activities including student research and projects as well as creating an archive of past issues. The NEWS appeals to all those who are involved in the industry from students, to technicians to company owners.

I have also contributed on a semi-regular basis as an industry expert who answers questions posed by field techs and information seekers in the HOTLINE feature in the publication.

Your advertising dollars would be well spent there

It looks like John is winning

The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News is a grand publication with a massive audience but will it touch the service companies that are the cornerstone of my business (i.e. those companies that use an answering service)?

    I've heard

they have the sharpest radiant contractor/author on their team that can be found in the business. Some guy who lives, eats and breathes the stuff - somewhere in the mid-west?
