FAN CYCLING QUICKLY
TROUBLESHOOTING A HOT AIR FURNACE THE FAN COMES ON AT ABOUT 150 AND SHUTS OFF AT 100. THE CONTROL IS MAKING FAN CYCLE TO QUICKLY, BUSINESS OWNER INSTALLED OWN DUCT WORK IN BUILDING FROM A RENOVATION PROJECT. THIS IS SET UP FOR AC WITH A FAN RELAY, WILL CHECK ON BLOWER SPEED.
IF THIS IS SET ON LOWER SPEED AND PROBLEM STILL OCCURS WHAT SHOULD NEXT STEP BE????? REPLY ASAP.

do you have the proper size duct for the amout of heat you are trying to move. and do you have the correct amout of return air. sounds like you have a distribution problem.
have a proffessional look at duct system.
good luck

rise
Check air temp in at return /check air temp out at the supply BEFORE the A/C coil. Look on the nameplate of the furnace should be a line that reads maxium tempture rise thru furnace rise will be somewhere between 40 and 80 degrees F depending upon furnace.
If your furnace is not in spec. you will need to take corrective action. Best Wishes J.Lockard0
