too much heat

We have a very large radiator that's giving off too much heat during this extremely cold weather but I suspect we will appreciate it during the more moderate weather. It currently has one quick vent. To reduce the heat, is it better to install one adjustable vent, or two slow vents, or something else? Or should be just try to adjust it via the valve? Thanks

venting
Try an adjustable vent first. It's less money and easiest to do. If problem persist, you could install a thermostatic radiator valve or vent. This would cure the problem but is a lot more costly to do.
